A corporation the U.S. Department of Agriculture classifies as Chinese-owned paid $21.2 million in cash for more than 1,500 acres of California farmland roughly 16 miles from the Navy’s principal West Coast fighter-jet base, according to federal and county records reviewed for this article.
The buyer, Long Feng International, Inc., acquired 1,513.18 acres in Kings County in November 2024, USDA’s foreign-landholding database shows. The department lists the investor’s country as “CHINA” and identifies Long Feng as a U.S.-created corporation whose primary interest is held by a Chinese owner.
The location makes the purchase particularly significant.
The nearest parcel sits approximately 16.1 miles, boundary to boundary, from Naval Air Station Lemoore. The Navy calls Lemoore its “designated West-coast strike fighter hub and master jet base.” It is home to Pacific-based F-35C Lightning II squadrons—the carrier-capable version of America’s fifth-generation stealth fighter—as well as F/A-18 Super Hornets.
These are not simply aircraft parked at a regional airfield. Lemoore supplies the carrier air wings that project American power across the Indo-Pacific. The Navy has said the F-35C is designed to penetrate contested airspace and bring greater lethality, precision and survivability to carrier operations. In any conflict involving China, those aircraft and the base supporting them would be central to the American response.
The Paper Trail
USDA’s 2024 foreign-landholding data documents the core transaction: Long Feng acquired 1,513.18 Kings County acres in November 2024 for $21.2 million. USDA identifies China as the country of the investor’s primary interest and codes the deal as a cash acquisition of the full ownership interest.
Kings County records match that disclosure exactly. Fourteen parcels assessed to Long Feng total 1,513.18 acres, confirming the land behind the federal entry.
Those parcels were part of a larger 3,094-acre West Corcoran property marketed in 2020. Long Feng did not buy the entire property; it bought the 1,513-acre portion. The offering brochure described pistachio orchards, row crops, agricultural wells and Corcoran Irrigation District water. This was productive farmland with an established water supply.
County records now place three additional parcels totaling 315.38 acres under Long Feng’s name, bringing its current footprint to 17 parcels and 1,828.56 acres. The three parcels share a February 6, 2026 document reference and move the property about a mile closer to NAS Lemoore.
The underlying document is not publicly available, so it remains unclear whether the 315 acres were newly purchased or transferred through another title action. Kings County now assesses them to Long Feng.
A Company With No Publicly Identified Human Owner
A California corporate-record mirror lists Long Feng’s formation date as May 13, 2024—six months before the purchase. Yet the available records do not identify the human being who ultimately owns or controls it.
The Federal Blind Spot
The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States can review certain foreign real-estate transactions near designated military installations. But the current federal list of covered sites does not include NAS Lemoore.
That omission means proximity to Lemoore alone does not appear to trigger the military-installation provision of CFIUS’s real-estate rules. CFIUS could have jurisdiction on another basis and does not normally disclose individual reviews.
The result is a striking gap: a Chinese-classified buyer acquired $21.2 million in farmland 16 miles from the base supporting America’s Pacific carrier-based fighter fleet, but that installation is absent from the federal proximity list intended to scrutinize foreign land purchases.
The unanswered questions are simple: Who owns Long Feng? What happened with the additional 315 acres in 2026? Was the original purchase reviewed? And why is the Navy’s West Coast master jet base missing from the government’s list?

Here is all you need to ask to determine whether this is OK: Would the Chinese allow an American entity or person connected to the US government to buy land adjacent to its military bases in China? Not a chance! A free country will remain free as long as you don’t do stupid shit like selling property adjacent to your military Installations to an enemy known to have spies all over the place and who is known to steal intellectual property world wide and who has a known long term goal of controlling and conquering the US. WTF?
This MUST STOP!!!!!
